Raw Almond & Rosmary Crackers

Raw breads & crackers  are gluten-free, healthy and nutritionally rich. In these crackers, the flavours of almonds, rosemary and red peppercorns blend together into a tasty and tasteful treat. They are delightful in your mouth and you can use them with any spread/dip! They are also a cool and great alternative to those avoiding cooked breads, or those aiming to stun their guests with a tasty and different kind of bread.


3 cups almonds
1/2 cup ground golden flax
1 cup water
1 sprig of fresh rosemary
A few red peppercorns
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste

Stir ground flax into water and set aside for 1/2 hour to soften. Place all the ingredients in the food processor and process until they have a crumble-like consistency.  Spread the mixture on a non-stick sheet (0.5 cm). I usually place another non-stick sheet on top of the mixture and roll out with a rolling-pin. Dehydrate until crisp (7/8 hours, it depends on your dehydrator). Break them into pieces!!
