Green Smoothie Week – Day 4

A delicious smoothie for a nutricional boost!

Something about blueberries: they are high in antioxidants and will help your skin glow. Furthermore, they contain a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, copper, iron and zinc. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. Copper is required for the production of red blood cells. Iron is required for red blood cell formation.

Something about  bananas: they are good for you carbs and rich in vitamin B6, a crucial element of any healthy diet. They are also rich source of fiber and potassium an important component of cell and body fluids that helps control heart rate and blood pressure, countering bad effects of sodium!

SOMETHING ABOUT BLUEBERRIES GREEN SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 handful spinach
1 cups water
1 cups frozen blueberries
1/2 banana, peeled
1/2 green apple
stevia (optional)

Place spinach and water into your blender and blend until mixture looks like a green juice-like. Stop blender and add remaining ingredients. Blend until creamy.
Enjoy!!
