Choconut spread … yes you can!

Ta dan! If you ever thought that Vegan Nutella was a myth, here you’ll find the recipe for a hazelnuts & chocolate spread that will make you forget your old love for the famous Ferrero spread! Healthier, delicious, smooth, sweet and multi-task (which means it can easily enhance almost every dessert/sweet snack: you can put it on a muffin, a cookie, some fruit, on a tartine, in a yoghurt, on a waffle, on some bread…)!
As you probably know the main ingredients in Nutella are sugar and vegetable oil, whereas the most prominent ingredients in this gorgeous cream are rice milk and hazelnuts! God exists! 🙂

INGREDIENTS:

2+1/2 tbsp cacao
230 g hazelnuts (toasted)
1 glass of rice milk
4 full tbsp maple syrup (or more if you want it sweeter)
1 tsp vanilla essence
Place the hazelnuts in a food processor and process for 2 or 3 minutes, until the result is smooth paste. Add all the other ingredients and process for another minute. Your choconut spread should be creamy and smooth and homogeneous. Do refrigerate immediately before tasting it or you’ll finish it straight…
.. if you are brave and you can say no to temptations, put the choconut cream in a small glass jar and keep it in your fridge.

PS: If you want a creamier paste, add more milk. You can also change the amount of cacao according to your taste!
Enjoy!
